PRAHRAN Football Club's Community Sport Program will continue into its 11th year of participation in the local community in 2011.
Thanks to the generous support of the Bendigpo Bank East Malvern Community Bank Branch, the CSP continues to serve local school children.
The CSP evolved in 2000 under the management of Derek Hine, a former club coach and now National Recruiting Manager at reigning AFL Premier Club Collingwood.
Again a major clinic in the second term of school holidays in June is planned for Toorak Park.
The event will be supported by the Stonnington City Council Teenage Holiday program.
Dale Tapping, former Prahran 1987 premiership player and coach of Sandringham Dragons in the TAC Cup, will again be program manager assisted by senior Prahran player Steve Zayler and Dragons players.
Children from the Horace Petty Adventure Playground Housing Estate will join in the program.
Schools taking part in the CSP this year are:
South Yarra Primary
St Rochs Primary
St Josephs Primary
Currajong Special Needs
Toorak Primary
Stonnington Primary
Armadale Primary
