VALE Sid Hill, a highly respected Prahran Football Club life member, who passed away Thursday April 14, 2016.
A member of one of Melbourne's most famous racing families, Hill, 84, was a leading and colourful rails bookie on Melbourne racecourses for several decades.
Sid and his wife Marcia were wonderful contributors to the club, especially in the halycon 1970s years and remained loyal supporters of the Two Blues.
A celebration of the life of Sidney Desmond Hill was be held at the Reflection Chapel at Springvale Botanical Cemetery and attended by several hundred mourners including many bookmakers and representatives of Prahran Football Club.
