Welcome to the Prahran 'Two Blues' Football Club.

Prahran appoints new Coach!

PRAHRAN 1978 premiership player Serge D’Angelo will complete a football journey with his appointment as the Two Blues senior coach for 2010.
D’Angelo, who formed a potent half-forward line with Wayne Johnston and Sam Kekovich, returns to his old club full of enthusiasm.
“It’s a challenge but one I’m looking forward to. I will be giving my best effort to get success and make us and an enjoyable community football club.’’
“ I think it’s important our players know about the past so I will be bringing some of my old teammates back to speak to the boys,’’ he said.
Last year D’Angelo had first season without a club involvement for 30 years which has re-charged the batteries.
D’Angelo has served a thorough VAFA coaching apprenticeship with St Leo’s,  as reserves and assistant coach to Dale Tapping at Old Scotch, and recently coached Marcellin Reseves and Old Ivanhoe Reserves.
It will be a new look club with Max Gratton taking over as general manager. Tod Mackay, who was acting general manager last season when Paul Goodwin left mid-year to take up a job offer in America, has stood down from the committee.
Gratton has been tribunal convenor with Football Federation Victoria, the state’s premier soccer body.
D’Angelo has arranged four pre Christmas training sessions.

Theme Song

Here come Prahran boys, here come the blues
We wont be beaten we hate to lose

We will beat them one and all
The bigger they are, the harder they fall

Whether the odds be great or be small
Gallant Prahran will win overall

You will hear the crowd all roaring
Com'on the mighty blues!
